The MINI Countryman SE all-electric has a much shorter maintenance list than combustion MINI models. No oil changes, no spark plugs, no exhaust work. Regenerative braking significantly extends brake pad life. Engine oil changes, spark plugs, timing chain service, and exhaust system maintenance are all eliminated. Cold Weather and Your MINI Electric Range: Below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, Countryman SE range typically drops 15 to 25 percent compared to the rated estimate. This is a normal characteristic of electric vehicle batteries in cold temperatures, not a defect. Pre-conditioning the car while still plugged in before you leave draws from the grid rather than the battery and improves cold-weather range.
