How to set up Digital Key in my MINI

Turn your compatible smartphone into your MINI’s key with MINI Digital Key. To get started, make sure your MINI and smartphone are compatible and that you’re signed in to the MINI App with your MINI ID. Follow the prompts in the MINI App to set up your Digital Key and pair your phone with your vehicle. Once activated, you can use your smartphone to lock, unlock, and start your MINI—without taking your physical key out of your pocket. You can also share Digital Key access with family or friends, depending on your MINI model and smartphone.
